My thoughts on what a data scientist is and what they do have not changed since writing the initial blog post.

I think R is a great program to use for data science; however, I am not sure if I will have the opportunity to use R going forward. I work in the banking industry so my company primarily uses SAS. I plan on pursing a role in our Analytics Department or a Business Analyst role upon completing the certificate program. The Analytics Department primarily uses SAS; however, I know there are individuals on that team that like to use R or Python as well. Some Business Analyst roles at my company use SAS as well. So I may be using SAS more than R in the future. Although if given the choice I would prefer using R over SAS.

Now that I have had this course I have been introduced to Stack Overflow and Github. In the future I will use Stack Overflow for trouble shooting in R and Github to get ideas and examples of R code when needed.
